Feast Day St. Archangel Michael in St. Petersburg FL

Folklor group “Srpski Biser” celebrated their slava St. Archangel Michael on November 26, 2017. It is important to mention that Srpski Biser has traveled around the world and won multiple awards for their performances. Throughout the year, twice a week, our children have dance practices with our choreographers Dragana Bilic and Djordje Rakovic. Our folklore president Mirjana Bulut, with the help of the parents, organizes programs for folklore, as well as other activities within our Holy Church. This year’s hosts were sisters Jelena and Maria Manojlovich, with their parents Goran, Sandra and grandparents Bosa and Djordjo, who prepared a festive lunch for all gathered guests. With the blessing of father Dragan, our children also prepared for Holy Liturgy and the Holy Communion. Slava was festive with the presence of church choir and children, slavski kolach was cut and zito was blessed, after which lunch was served along with rich folklore program. We are taking this opportunity to thank parents and all who help our parish.
